Fall in Love is Guadalajara, Mexico second largest city. Guadalajara is located in the state of Jalisco in the center of Mexico. It is 350 miles west of Mexico City. With over 450 years of being a city. Guadalajara has some amazing rich cultural beauty to share with visitors. When you tour this beautiful city you will experience the Mexico’s magnificent culture.
On a Guide tour, Journey Baja will take you too a number of places within Guadalajara, such as the famous Catedral Metropolitana. Built in 1561 in the center of the city, Catedral Metropolitan has undergone different renovations, it architecture reflects a Gothic, baroque, Moorish and neoclassical architectural styles, and it house one of the oldest organs in the city.
Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace) is another stop along the Journey Baja Tour. The building was completed in 1774 and is also well known as the place where Padre Miguel Hidalgo (1753-1811) abolished slavery in Mexico. It is a must see it Guadalajara, it is ordained with beautiful art. It is home to some powerful murals by Jose Clemente Orozco (1883-1949). Orozco is known as one of the “Big Three” muralists along with Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros.

8. El Baratillo: Every Sunday in the Oblatos barrio there’s a huge street market, from 10am to 2:30. This famous market sells everything under the sun. You can barely walk the whole market. Items range from Clothes, electronic items, tacos, animals and engine parts Clothes, CDs, TVs, stolen goods, fruit, tacos, animals, and engine part. You can taxi it there or the efficient metro: get off at Belisario Dominguez. Remember to watch your pockets and practice your haggling. I would recommend carrying a money bag that hangs from the neck and concealed from your clothes
9. Church of Santa Monica Description: Three blocks to the north-west of the Cathedral stands the church of Santa Mónica, built in the first half of the 17th c. The Baroque façade, with Salomonic twisted columns, is covered with rich and intricately-carved ornamentaion, including grapes, cobs of maize, angels, double eagles and symbols of religious orders. At the corner an early and impressive statue of St Christopher looks down on the passing traffic.
